What To Do When Someone Says "Yes!"

When you sign up a new member, be sure to do the following:

1. Tell your sponsor the moment that you sign someone up. Be sure to give them the name and e-mail address of your new member. This way, they can introduce themselves and/or add your new member to their mailing list. Building mutually beneficial relationships is key.

2. Send your new member a personal "welcome letter," telling them how they can get started right away. Explain to them that you are their first point of contact for all of their questions, and that you're there to help them get started with their new business.

3. Keep in touch with your new members, at least twice a week. These people are a part of your permanent downline. Stay close to them. Answer their questions, and generally, just let them know that you are there for them. Encourage them to ask for help, and visit this site often.

When you have additional tips that you want to send to your downline, go for it! Hey, they are your downliners forever, and you should guide them however you like. You'll want to setup a downline "group" in your e-mail program so you can easily send them all a message at once.

Here is a sample "welcome" letter that many agents use, and it seems to work very well. Feel free to use it verbatim, just be sure to change the obvious stuff like your name, your contact information, the company you represent, etc. Better yet, use this as a starting point and write up your own, personalized welcome letter.
