Our Policy Regarding Spam, Bulk & Unsolicited
E-mail

There's no question that E-mail is the fastest and easiest way to market your business online. The fact that you can send your advertisement to anyone, anywhere in the world, in just a few seconds, all for free, makes it the first choice for many marketers.

But junk E-mail, like junk postal mail (snail mail), is viewed with the same disdain on the 'Net as it is offline. In fact, some people get down-right hostile when presented with unsolicited commercial messages, whether it's in their mailbox or in the newsgroups they frequent.

A "flame" or fiery message can range from a mild "Stop it!" to a scorching four-letter filled message that is down-right offensive. Sending unsolicited E-mail can have other negative effects as well. These days, most ISPs will cancel your account after just one complaint.

Since you also have the opportunity to send the same message to thousands of people at once, the potential for abuse is huge. Our question to users who contemplate bulk E-mail is simple -- Are you in business for the long run or for the short run, quick profit?

Is it a good idea to anger potential prospects? Most definitely not!

Hopefully you understand the point. Besides wasting bandwidth, clogging Internet servers, and leaving a bad impression on your company, mass E-Mailing is the lazy man's way to profits on the Internet. You'll learn more effective, acceptable uses of E-mail anyway.

Generally, "spamming" is the act of sending unsolicited E-Mail and/or posting large numbers of advertisements to inappropriate newsgroups. This will get you nowhere in a real hurry. You can avoid getting yourself into trouble by following these 3 simple guidelines ...

1. Don't send unsolicited E-mail. Unsolicited means they never asked for it.

2. Don't post ads to inappropriate newsgroups. Most don't allow blatant ads.

3. Don't cross-post ads to many groups at once. See note below.

Note: Cross-posting is normally encouraged because it uses up less resources on the news servers. However, even if you cross-post only to appropriate newsgroups you can still run into trouble. Many ISPs simply don't allow it at all. Be sure to check with yours first!

These guidelines are simple enough and if you follow them you won't get into trouble. We've gone to great lengths to provide you with many, many alternatives, and you'll find a wealth of marketing tips right here in this Training Center.

Now of course, if someone sends you an unsolicited E-Mail, by all means, reply back with a sales letter or at least your URL and a few enticing comments about your business. As long as you received something from them first, you can't get into to any trouble by replying back.

Here is a alternative that you may like to use. It's a FREE service called SPAM-INSURANCE. Members first open a separate free e-mail account at which they agree to receive e-mail offers from other members and they also have the right to send e-mail offers to all other members. With SPAM-INSURANCE you can send your offer to 1,000 or soon to 100,000 opportunity seekers with the absolute knowledge that you will get no bounced messages, no flames, no mailbombs, no lawsuits and no more lost ISP accounts!

With this service you will be the first to know of any new internet business opportunities and if you are the first to inform the members about your opportunity then your downline can grow overnight. They also offer an optional business opportunity. Please note that this is not spamming since all members agree to receive e-mail offers from all other members. If you decide to use this service you may want to use an e-mail program like Pegasus mail that can do selective downloading.
