When you first arrive at the typical web classified site, you will have to fill out some information, and it could take up to 3 to 5 minutes for each site, BUT IT IS WELL WORTH YOUR TIME. Believe me. Do about 5 of these advertising sites a day. Do it EVERY SINGLE DAY. If you do it this week, next week, and the following week, in no time at all, you will have so many ads working for you on the internet, you won't even know what to do with all of the inquiries you receive.

Newsgroup posting is a fantastic way to attract immediate responses. Your ad usually runs anywhere from 7 to 14 days, or 30 to 60 days, some even 6 months, so you only have to post them once and they are out there for quite a while.

I suggest you check out as many of these sites as possible, as soon as possible, and place your ads accordingly. Now, almost all of these sites offer free advertising. Some were free, and are starting to charge. Each of these sites is relatively new, and will be growing each and every day. It is an alternative to posting exclusively in newsgroups. This advertising should complement your newsgroups advertising, not replace it. Thousands and thousands of people will only visit these advertising sites on the world wide web, and never even go to the newsgroups. So, it is crucial that you visit these sites, and post some ads there. I get tremendous response from the ads I post on these world wide web advertising sites.

Think of it this way, newsgroup ads give you instant gratification in the form of responses. World Wide Web ads give you long term gratification. Both of them are necessary. You can post to newsgroups one day, and web sites the next day if you want. This is actually a good idea, because by spacing your newsgroup advertising better, you will not have to worry about spamming the newsgroups so much. And, you'll continue getting your ads up there, in more and more places.

*Posting Classifieds: I have my classified ad postings listed in my Netscape Bookmarks. In the description field, I have the date a given ad expires. That tells me which ad needs to be posted on a given day. Of course, this can only be scheduled after you have submitted to every possible free classified site.
