The Webmaster Income Program
What is a Webmaster? Technically, a Webmaster is someone who maintains a Website.
Therefore I am a Webmaster, but if you HAVE a website, but don't maintain it, then you are
not a Webmaster. I'm the Webmaster of this site since I take care of this website, make
updates, etc.
If your business opportunity is free to join or requires a small one-time payment, and if
it also doesn't require monthly payments then your opportunity represents an awesome
opportunity for Webmasters to profit from the high traffic their sites generate. They will
get "money for nothing" and your organization will explode especially if the
webmaster's site is a super high traffic site receiving 10,000 plus visitors per month!
Here's how it works. You explain to a webmaster how they can make money, literally without
doing any work. It sounds too good to be true, but they'll listen to you and it will make
sense. All they have to do is place a banner on their site, and you do everything else.
If your business opportunity creates free personalized web sites for it's members then you
can create them a free website and tell them to set the banner on their original high
traffic site to link visitors to this new site. If your business doesn't give free web
sites to it's members then maybe you can make a web site for them yourself and put it on
one of the many servers that offer free commercial web space. You will put your e-mail
address on the new site instead of theirs so that the inquiries from prospects come to
you. However, make sure that their new site is set up so that when prospects join the
webmaster will be their sponsor. So with the banner on their high traffic site linking
visitors to this new site all of the inquiries from that site will go through you but the
actual sign-ups will go to the webmaster. That's the trade-off. They give you free
advertising and you do the work for them.
Of course, all of the people that sign up from these Webmaster sites will go directly
under the webmaster. But they will all be on your 2nd level and will count towards your
organization's volume and therefore towards your commission - and that's all that matters.
It's a win-win situation. A few good Webmaster sites and you're set!
You'll just pretend that these people are all on your first level, and the webmaster is
more like an invisible agent in between you and them. Believe me, it's more than worth it.
And many of them eventually choose to become actively involved which is even better.
So how do you find Webmasters? They are everywhere! Estimates say that 1 out of every 4
people on the 'Net has a homepage, so there isn't really a need to go looking for them.
Simply use the techniques outlined in this section of the Training Center and they will
find you!
If you have this webmaster program explained on your web site then many webmasters will
visit your web site and sign-up right away, without asking many questions. But there are
some who'll want details before they sign-up.
So what do you do when a Webmaster says "Yes!" ??? It's easy! If they want to be
actively involved with the business, you simply treat them as any other agent. Most will
just want to display the banner and that's it, here's what you do ...
1. Create a website for them. If you have to choose a directory name for their new web
site address (URL), don't even bother asking them what name they would like to use, just
make one up for them. Use something logical like their name or the name of their company.
Just be sure you enter the Webmaster's name and YOUR E-Mail address when you're
creating their new site. When agents sign up from the webmaster's site, you need to remind
them to put down the Webmaster's information as their sponsor.
2. Once you've created their website, it's time to send them an E-Mail like this ...
Hello again,
I've created your website and you're ready to go! The URL of your site is
http://www.xxxx.com/members/??????? and this is the URL that you will link to the banner
you show on your site.
I've attached our most popular banner to this E-Mail, take a look at it and see what you
think. I think it will look great on your site! If you agree, simply place it on your main
page and link it to the above URL.
(If the business they joined requires them to sign an agreement then you can add)
The only other thing I need you to do is fill out the simple Agent agreement and fax or
mail it back to me. If you have access to a fax machine, that would be easiest but I'd be
more than happy to snail-mail it to you if necessary.
If you like you can visit our Online Training Center, and you're welcome to use all of the
FREE marketing materials you'll find there.
Again, welcome to our program and don't hesitate to ask if you have any other questions in
the meantime!
Sincerely,
Your Name
XXX, Inc etc....
That's really all there is to it! Hopefully they either have, or have access to a fax
machine and you can either fax the agreement to them or ask someone to fax it for you or
if the company has a fax-on-demand then they can retrieve it from there. Then they simply
fill it out and fax it back to you or to the company, whatever is required, and they're
official.
Ok I think that's it for now. Remember, it's a numbers game out there - be consistent in
your marketing efforts. Our system works, if you work it!
